オーディオコアが刷新され更に、HEVC/H.265 in MKV, MP4 と raw files に対応。OSX 10.9 Maverick から 10.6 レパードで動作する。それ以前のシステムでの動作は切り捨てられた形となるが、それによる不便はないだろう。むしろ 10.5 以前のシステムでは十分な活躍は期待できないと思われる。
こうした見直しは、これからはインターネット・ツールを考え直す機会になるだろう。
